Ann Rebele
Ann L. Rebele has a BFA degree from Ohio State University where she majored in Design. She has been making fabric art for over 25 years and enjoys creating original hand drawn, hand-painted, hand-dyed, and hand-printed fabrics, using her original photographs, and developing unique three-dimensional effects.
Ann has had five solo art shows at art centers and galleries around Ohio including The Columbus Cultural Arts Center. Her work has been in numerous national and international juried and invitational exhibitions, including Quilt National 2011; Fiber National; many Best of at The Ohio Craft Museum; The Canton Museum of Art; The Butler Institute of American Art; The Mansfield Art Center; The Indianapolis Art Center; and The Ohio State Faculty Club.
Ann’s solo show at the Dublin Arts Center was selected by the Columbus Dispatch as one of the “Best Visual-Arts Events” of 2006. She has curated exhibitions, and her art studio has been on the “Worthington Art Council’s – Artist’s Studio Tour”.
