August 2024 Guild Meeting

Our August Guild Meeting speaker will be Felice Dahlhausen.

After thirty-two years as a high school art teacher Felice moved into a new artistic path. Felice taught photography, drawing, painting and graphic design and combined those skills to develop quilt patterns with a modern and happy look to them. Felice has been a quilter for over thirty years and a teacher for NEORQC and member of two local guilds, Always in Pieces, L.O.T.A., and other fiber organizations including the Cleveland Museum of Art Textile Art Alliance, and SAQA.

Felted wool has become a favorite medium combined with cotton fabrics and LOTS of embroidery stitches! The goal is to strengthen her artistic work and learn new techniques that will provide growth in the skills she uses.
